Booking Terms and Conditions

All bookings are accepted subject to the following terms and conditions. Please ensure you read and
understand the following terms. If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact us for clarification
before you sign the booking form

1. Booking procedures and payment terms

1.1 Clients must complete the booking form and forward it with a non-refundable deposit cheque made payable to Mrs F Footman for £150 per week or $ cheque for $250 per week being booked. Or payment can be taken by credit/debit card, which incurs a 3% administration fee per transaction. A booking will be regarded as final when we confirm that the deposit has been received. A booking confirmation will be sent to you. The deposit rates above will also apply to bookings of less than 1 week

1.2 Full payment will be due 8 weeks before the first day of your stay – no reminder for final payment will be sent. Any bookings taken within 8 weeks of your departure are to be paid in full at the time of the booking

1.3 You will be expected to pay a security deposit of £150 or $250. This deposit is used to insure against any possible damage to the property and its contents during your stay. This will be refunded at the end of your stay provided that all is present and correct

1.4 The person who signs the booking form certifies that he or she is authorised to agree the terms and conditions on behalf of all persons included on the booking form. This person must be a member of the party occupying the villa and be 21 years or over

2. Cancellations

2.1 Clients may cancel the holiday booking at any time after it has been confirmed. All cancellations must be confirmed in writing

2.2 We reserve the right to cancel the holiday booking due to non-payment in accordance with clause 1.2 above

2.3 The following are the cancellation rates that will apply in accordance with clauses 2.1 and 2.2 above

More than 60 days prior to departure Loss of rental deposit
30 to 60 days 50% of rental
Within 30 days 100% of rental

2.4 In the unlikely event that circumstances beyond our control lead to the cancellation of the rental agreement, we reserve the right to cancel any bookings at any time and will only be liable to refund monies already paid

We strongly advise you to take out holiday insurance that covers unforeseen circumstances that may lead to the cancellation of your holiday. This insurance should cover cancellation fees and other losses that may occur.

3. Accommodation

3.1 The villa is only to be used by the persons named on the booking form. Sub-letting, sharing or assigning is strictly prohibited

3.2 The property can be entered from 2pm local time on your day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am local time on the day of your departure

3.3 Our Management Company will handle booking-in and the collection of keys. Full details will be provided with the confirmation of booking

3.4 A responsible adult must accompany any person under the age of 18

3.5 We will not be liable for any loss resulting from the use of any part of the property

3.6 Th e swimming pool area can be hazardous and children must be supervised at all times

3.7 Strictly no pets are permitted

3.8 We reserve the right to refuse any all-male or female groups and any group staying at the villa should be as specified on the booking form

3.9 The villa is furnished with various entertainment equipment including a PC with High-Speed wireless internet and a PlayStation2. Whilst we will endeavour to have all this available, routine maintenance may mean that we have to withdraw any item at short notice. We accept no responsibility for this whatsoever. We request that you do not tamper with any of the equipment supplied. All equipment is thoroughly checked after every guest leaves and you risk losing your security deposit if any item is broken as a result of misuse

4. Smoking

4.1 For the safety and well being of clients and guests, smoking is not permitted inside the villa. Smoking is permitted in the pool and patio area and the ashtrays that are provided must be used. If this condition is not adhered to an extra cleaning charge will be levied. This term is strictly enforced

Failure to comply with any of the stipulations detailed in these terms and conditions could result in our management company evicting you from the property

5. Complaints

5.1 In the unlikely event that you wish to make a complaint during your holiday, you should immediately contact our Management Company. You should then follow up the complaint in writing. Give the Management Company a copy of the letter and send us a copy on your return. We can not always control all of the elements of your accommodation and it is possible that an advertised feature may not be available or changed due to circumstances beyond our control and for which we can not be held liable

6. Insurance and Force Majeure  

6.1 We and our Management Company will not be liable for any loss or delay, caused by but not limited to the following: strikes, riots, hostilities, political unrest, war, terrorist activities, industrial disputes, fire, flood, weather, force majeure, problems in relation to any kind of transport or any other event beyond the owner’s control. It is strongly recommended that insurance be taken out to cover any kind of loss that can occur
